Fast, Smart, and A Ball of Fire are all things used to describe "Monte" says his owner. From working large fields for upland birds to crashing into the water feet first after a downed honker "Monte" doesn't hesitate. This dog has drive and spending time in the field are something he enjoys as much as his owner.

One of the youngest retrievers in the Game Hogg's kennel and the only Chesapeake, Moxie was born in the late winter of 2006. Her name fits her well, as her drive defines the term. She ran NAHRA field tests in the summer of 2007 earning her Started title. She then shared time with several other retrievers in the '07-'08 season recording over 100 retrieves in her first full season.

Coot is quick to learn and a pleasure to have in the duck blind. Born March 30, 2006 Coot started her first duck season at 6 months of age and finished with 86 retrieves. She will be training hard all summer to refine her skills for her first full season.

Ice is the youngest of Frank's clan and is currently splitting time between field trials and gun dog duties. She is also the fastest retriever of the fleet and is a great ball of energy in the field and at the trials.

Maggie is currently Frank's field trial star. She comes from a great pedigree and it shows, as she has a lot of talent. She gets into the hunting rotation from time to time, but only when the others need a break, as she is currently a full time field trial maniac!

Zin is the go to dog for the Game Hogg's in NY. She is a former field trial retriever, turned gun dog, and she brings years of experience to the blind. From honkers to quackers, this dog will get the job done.

Erik's Blazing Gun of Campbell AKA "Gauge" passed away in April of 2009 after a short stint with Lyme's disease. He was a pleasure to have in the boat and blind and was part of our hunting crew over the past two season, just like one of the guys. His presence will be missed in the years to come, and my thoughts are with Gauge as he chases down birds and hopefully has a pair of blue gloves to steal just like he did with mine of many outings. The next birds are for you buddy, we will try our best to let out a battle cry that would do your's justice come September 1st...David Rearick
