Sillosock Snow Flapper by Mike Bard

(c)Mike Bard, Game Hogg Hunt ClubTM

I've been chasing snow geese here and there for the better part of the last decade and over the past two seasons both fall and spring; I've added Sillosock flapper decoys to my spread. Anyone who has hunted snows knows that they love motion and with enough wind (I'd say over 6-7 mph) these decoys provide very realistic flapping motion creating the illusion that birds are landing or picking up to move ahead to feed.  The only drawback to these decoys is those windless days when they'll appear limp and motionless and on those rare days we just don't use them. When the conditions are right, utilizing these decoys proves very effective, and will help you decoy those wary birds feet down in the hole.

They Are Also Available in a Blue Goose Paint Scheme...
